Coomera North (Stage 1) — Noise Barriers
Acciona Georgiou Joint Venture · Coomera, Gold Coast QLD
Fencepac was engaged by the Acciona Georgiou Joint Venture to deliver the design, supply, and construction of noise barriers as part of the Coomera Connector Stage 1 project. The works formed a critical component of a major transport infrastructure corridor, requiring coordination across multiple stakeholders, strict compliance standards, and integration with concurrent civil works.
Palm Beach to Tugun (PB2T) – Noise Barriers Package
Head Contractor (PB2T Alliance) · Gold Coast, QLD
Full lifecycle delivery of noise barriers including design development and certification of noise wall systems, manufacture and installation of concrete panels, construction of bored pile foundations and in-situ concrete sills, and coordination with other contractors for footing works and interface zones. All works delivered in compliance with TMR specifications and stringent quality requirements.
Lotus Glen Correctional Facility
Thiess · Mareeba, Far North Queensland
Fencepac partnered with Thiess to design, innovate and construct prison-standard security fencing for a new extension, and an existing refurbished section, of the Lotus Glen Correctional Facility. The project comprised multiple fencing applications including high chainwire, weldmesh and razor wire fencing, visual barriers, enclosures, electric and manual gates, and dog pound fencing.
Redlands Business Park
Shadforth Civil Pty Ltd · Redland Bay, QLD
Design and construct 1,466m² of segmental concrete crib retaining walls up to 6.0m high including site set out, preparatory and foundation excavation, installation of durable wall components designed to provide 60 years of structural integrity.
Aurora Ripley
Orchard (Daleys) Developments Pty Ltd · Ripley Valley, QLD
Design and construct 2,143m² of acoustic barriers ranging in height from 2m to 5.5m, along with 56m² of retaining wall to complement the project. Scope included comprehensive design tailored to meet acoustic performance, structural stability, and aesthetic requirements.
Edmonton to Gordonvale Bruce Highway
HSA Group (John Holland / Seymour Whyte / AECOM JV) · Far North QLD
Supplied and installed 330m of durable concrete rail corridor barrier to meet stringent safety and engineering standards. Designed and reconstructed a timber noise barrier to integrate with the existing wall, ensuring consistent acoustic performance and visual alignment.
Currell Circuit, Samford Valley
Suncorp Insurance · Samford Valley, QLD
Design and construct of a reinforced earth Keystone Elite masonry retaining wall to remediate a significant 2022 slope failure at a residential property. Wall approximately 90m in length and up to 3.5m in height, stabilising the dwelling and protecting an estimated asset value in excess of $2.5M.
Holmview Central Shopping Centre
Lawrence Lancini Constructions Pty Ltd · Holmview, QLD
Design and construct of a 7m-high reinforced earth masonry wall for access to a shopping centre's click-and-collect facility. Scope included geotechnical investigation, detailed design, and construction of a high-quality retaining structure to support heavy vehicle access.
Wacol DPSOA Security Fencing
QBuild — Department of Energy and Public Works · Wacol, QLD
Design and construct a 3-metre high Bluedog fence with a 6-metre wide tracked sliding gate system and a 12-metre swing gate. Additionally, removal and reinstallation of the existing chainwire perimeter fence at a live correctional facility.
